Waymart Hotel Weekly Car Show, Thursday 5/30/2019
The Waymart Hotel hosts a weekly car show Thursday evenings. For 2019 the first show was on May 9, Auto Express Detailing was present on May 30, 2019 and selected blue 1969 Chevy Nova in mint condition as the recipient of the "Detailers Choice Award". The vehicle is owned by Ken Polowski. (Photographs to follow)
Honesdale National Bank, Route 6, June 8, 2019
The staff of Auto Express Detailing attending the June 8th. show at the Honesdale National Bank Car Show selected a 1979 silver and blue two-tone Chevy Camaro as the winner of the "Detailers Choiice Award", for this show. The vehicle belongs to Jim Hegge of Honesdale who personally did all the necessary work on the beautiful old vehicle. (Photographs to follow)

Ladore Veteran's Appreciation Car Show, August 7, 2019
The Salvation Army, Ladore Lodge, 398 South Street, Waymart, PA was the site of Veterans Open House to Honor All Veterans, Motorcycle and Classic Car Show.
Despite the threat of severe weather the car show was well attended with lots of awards to car owners passionate about their antique and classic vehicles.
After careful review of all the spectacular vehicles on display one, a 1913 International MW truck, owned by Metro Lazorack, was awarded the "Detailers Choice Award" by Auto Express Detailing.
Mr. Lazorack, a retired school teacher who spent his spare time over a period of ten years carefully restoring this beautiful old truck. He stated,"I needed something to do after school hours and on weekends besides watching TV"
Honesdale National Bank Rt. 6 Car Show, August 10, 2019
It was the perfect ending to a perfect August Day with a spectacular car show at the Honesdale National Bank on Route 6 with nearly 100 vehicles of many different types, Makes and Models. Auto Express Detailing was there and presented another Detailers Choice Award. The recipients, with their 1968 Z28, Rally Sport Chevy Camaro was Mr. and Mrs Mike Myers from Grimms Road in Dyberry Township.
Mike purchased the old car in 1970, one of only 228 Z28, Rally Sport Camaros manufactured that year. It is powered by the original 302 CID V8 engine. All restoration work on the vehicle except for the new paint was completed by the owners.
Central Park Honesdale show, October 12, 2019
The annual fall car show at Honesdale's Central Park was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019. It was a beautiful fall evening in Honesdale for the show and Auto Express Detailing was there studying all the great vehicles to find the one deserving owner to receive the "Detailers Choice Award" for this event.
The winner was Carl Brucher from Carbondale with his 1937 Ford Coupe. Carl has owned this vehicle since 1958 and has personally done most of the work needed throughout the years. Carl has a second vehicle, a 1948 Anglia? What is that I asked him and was told that it is an English Ford. But, back to the 1937 Coupe, when Carl first purchased it he used it for a Drag Racing vehicle. In those early days, he installed a number of different engines in the old car as racing engines. A few years ago he decided to return this to original condition and he has done a truly wonderful job doing so. Keep an eye out for Carl and one of his two vehicles at future area shows.
